Daily writing prompt
How do you write what people actually want to read?

I write about what I know: real life.

I’ve always had a different outlook on life and a perspective that doesn’t necessarily fit into the usual mold. I live a pretty average, imperfect life, and I think there’s something valuable in being honest about that. I don’t try to fabricate stories, exaggerate my experiences, or put on a perfect façade just to make something more interesting.

Instead, I write about the things I’ve actually been through – the struggles, the mistakes, the difficult moments, and the lessons that came from them. I talk about how I’ve overcome things, how some experiences have changed the way I see the world, and sometimes just what it’s like trying to get through everyday life.

I think people want to read things they can relate to. They want to know they aren’t the only ones struggling, questioning things, starting over, or simply trying to figure life out.

So I write honestly. I write from my own perspective, even when it’s unconventional. I’m not pretending to have everything figured out.

I’m just an average person with a different way of looking at things – and I think sometimes, that is exactly what people want to read.

I think honest stories connect the most because people can see a real person behind the words. Sharing everyday experiences, struggles, and lessons makes writing feel more meaningful and relatable. 😊
