New Painting: “The Extraordinary Domestic Life of Thomas the Toad”

This is a new painting of mine that I finished not that long ago. It took about a month to plan, design, and then paint it.

It’s simply a cute toad performing his domestic duties inside of his mushroom house. So responsible I love it.

The painting was inspired by toads that come to our basement door at night. They’ve been doing this for years and I always wondered why. He’s named after my son. 🙂

He should have some more brown colors added but I didn’t want that.

Such magical little dudes.

Now I need to create something for my daughter.
