What I would do If I lost all of my possessions
Daily writing prompt
What would you do if you lost all your possessions?

I’ve been through this before. I’ve lost everything including my clothes, my mattress, computer, and other objects. I’ve lost my sanity, dignity, and pretty much everything. It took a long time to recover from this damage and I still have a bitter seed that’s been growing inside of me ever since. Three things I’ve learned from this experience:

  1. Things are replaceable. Life happens unexpectedly and sometimes shitty people get in the way.
  2. Patience is a virtue. What goes around must come back around. I’ll be here.
  3. If I can survive this, I can survive anything.

Thank you! ❤️ I hope not either but it was a great learning experience and my first real taste of how unexpectedly chaotic life can get
