I feel out of place all of the time. Like I just don’t belong anywhere, or anyplace, even in social groups. I’m a loner basically. I don’t find it necessary to fake it until I make it, so I create my own place. Sometimes it’s very hard to connect with other people when you already know they can be shams.

It’s time for a nerdy gamer girl post!
Back in like 2006 I was hanging out with some friends doing regular teenager things when all of a sudden the person who’s house we were at fires up his computer and a game begins to load.
The game loads and the character selection screen appears and I see for the first time a Tauren – a Horde Race. Instantly captivated by the giant looking buffalo dude, I began to watch this person running around and like getting the bad guys and solving quests. I sat and watched for hours and asked so many questions about this cool game.
I can’t even remember where I went to purchase the game. At that point in time, you had to buy the game and download via discs. Used to take FOREVER. Sometimes it would complete the download and it still would crash after launching the software.

Don’t ever give up, keep moving forward, learn from past mistakes and failures and do better.

Once upon a time I used to hate school. All of it. Middle into high school just sucked for me and eventually, a month before graduation day, I quit. I had already been set up with my first job and so I made this decision to just give up and work as a professional house cleaner for the next ten years or so. You know what, probably even longer than that.
Eventually I got a GED after passing the high school equivalency test. About a year or so after I dropped out. Then two years later I decided that I wanted to be a bartender, out of the blue. I went to this place where they teach you how to make fancy drinks and cocktails, shake a shaker, tap a keg, customer service loving, and etc. I got a license to tend the bar and I was pretty proud of myself for something so small. It made me believe that maybe I can finish the things I’ve started, instead of just giving up like a baby.

Without music, life would just plain suck. It gives me a boost of energy and inspiration while painting. It puts a smile on my children’s faces. It brings back old memories from days of being young and careless.
Music has such a power that can connect us to our deepest thoughts and desires, with a touch of healing our souls.
Imagine a life without music, how dull our existence would be.

FOOD. I love eating. I like making homemade foods too. I just made 12 pizzas the other day first time homemade and it was so much fun, and delicious! I made plain, pepperoni, pineapple & ham, and margherita pizzas.

I love all holidays! Especially Halloween, Christmas, even Thanksgiving. These three I go all out for.
For Halloween, we decorate outside and of course inside. I have a nice collection of Halloween items. I make my kids costumes by hand when requested.
For Christmas, I put up four fake trees around the house and decorate them in different styles. I also make homemade cookies such as sugar, gingerbread, and peanut butter. Sometimes I will make my kids handmade gifts as well.
For Thanksgiving, I make a big meal which includes turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, candied carrots, cranberry sauce, gravy, coleslaw, celery with cream cheese, baked bread, and some other stuff. All homemade.

Something I wish I had learned earlier in life would be how friends come and go for all different reasons.

I am a very open person and I like to share my own personal stories and experiences. I don’t know why but for some reason it’s just programmed into my DNA.
With that being said, here’s a shocking story to talk about…
Electroconvulsive therapy, sometimes referred to as “shock treatment” or just ECT, is a medical procedure that involves inducing a brief seizure in the brain using controlled electrical currents for a variety of reasons.
In my particular case it was used for treatment-resistant depression.

I’m a little late on this small celebration because I’ve been busy.
July 5, 2025 – my 5 year anniversary of giving up my benzodiazepines addiction which included Xanax, Klonopin, and Ativan. Oh, and mixing alcohol with them too.

I have lived in New Jersey my whole life, it’s been my home forever and I’ll probably never leave the Garden State.
And this is why I love it here –
- We have all four seasons like the old Pelican pool commercial – winter, spring, summer, and fall.
- We are surrounded by beautiful trees, flowers, and endless woods.
- We do not pump our own gas.
- The food! Especially pizza shops, they’re all over the place.
- Going down the shore – Seaside Heights, Long Beach Island, The Wildwoods, it’s all so beautiful.
- The middle finger is very popular here.
- We really do grow the best tomatoes.
- The farms and all the seasonal activities are so much fun, especially apple and pumpkin picking.
- Driving the winding back roads and blasting music with the windows down.
- The winter season here is not as bad as they used to be when I was growing up.
- The weather really does change throughout the day – sweaters in the morning and shorts in the afternoon.
- The diners here are very good and plenty to choose from.
- We are all divided on pork roll/Taylor ham, personally I don’t go crazy over it.
- The bagel shops are so good and most of the time the everything bagel is sold out.
- NYC is very close by so that’s a whole new world to explore too.
- We are fighters here and the fists really do pump up.
- This is a great place to raise a family.
- We never stop. This is a fast-paced state and everyone seems to be in a hurry for no reason.
- Nature is amazing here and you’ll definitely encounter black bears.
- You can be anything you want here if you work hard.
-

If I had the opportunity of opening a shop to sell stuff, I would sell my artwork. This would include paintings, sculptures, mixed media art, woodwork, pottery, resin, epoxy, and whatever else I like to mess around with.
Maybe someday!

It’s been obvious on how much I love the 90s and especially the old Nickelodeon cartoons, like Rocko’s Modern Life.
This time I decided to paint the famous Honker Burger from the show Doug.
If this was a real place I would make reservations to eat here in a heartbeat.

My family and I just had our first family vacation together down the shore in Wildwood, New Jersey.
It was sunny and hot, the sand felt like walking on silky sheets, the seagulls screamed and fought over scraps – it was perfect.
One of the best feelings in the world is traveling down the parkway and smelling the salty sea air and looking at the wondrous ocean.

Lots of stuff, lol.
Some things that I’m actually curious about –
Why do men have nipples and do they have a purpose?
Who came up with naming objects and every day items like toilet paper or nail clippers, or plunger?
How did the planets form, why are we humans on planet Earth and what is our real goal?
Is there another existence of life somewhere else?
Why can’t they make a word that rhymes with orange?

I was born in the 1990s and grew up on all the Nickelodeon classics – Rugrats, Hey Arnold, All That, Clarissa Explains It All, Doug, and the rest of them, but one of my favorites is Rocko’s Modern Life.
I used to love watching this show and sometimes I still watch it when I get the chance, and now that I’m an adult it’s even funnier with all the adult jokes I missed as a kid.
One day while watching a clip of the show, I was watching the episode where Heffer and Rocko travel on a plane and I think the episode is called Jet Scream. During the episode, the two characters morph into a Picasso-like painting and suddenly I had an idea!
